Ródia 18K Gold Hoops

Ródia means pomegranates in Greek and this pair of earrings is made as a tribute to the balance of life and death. The Ródia hoops are made of the seeds, deliberately symmetrical to one another and carefully placed even though in a raw manner, so as to correspond conceptually but also semantically to the core of the collection. Inspired by the tangible organic composition and naturalistic form of the pomegranate fruit, the carving is completed by a frosting manifestation of rough finishing.
